Hi!
I just want you to know that it is my goal for 2012 to provide a more detailed “About Me” section. The truth is that it is hard to write about yourself. My first draft of the “About Me” section sounded like a long drawn out auto-biography of me. I am working on making it shorter but it will tell you the story of how photography crash landed into my life. It is a crucial part to who I am as a person and photographer.
In the meantime, I am going to tell you some important things… ahem facts you should know about me.
1. I smile a lot… expect a lot of

2. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela so I speak Spanish… Fluently and with a Venezuelan/Puerto Rican accent (I pick up accents like you would NOT believe).
3. I live in Northern Virginia but I serve VA, DC, MD
4. Yes! I like to travel. Do you have a destination wedding planned? I planned one myself so we can talk all about it
5. I have a snazzy car. The groomsmen will have something to talk about with me.
6. I am silly and I have a lot of energy most of the time
7. I love to knit
8. I love techno (mostly Tiesto but I have a huge library of “untz, untz” in my iPod), I love Britney Spears and Metallica. I have an eclectic taste for music.
9. I love cats. We have two adopted babies
10. I have a thing for dramatic lighting and dramatic black and white images.
11. Is my lucky number
12. I am a Gemini
13. My car says “Scoobies for Boobies” on the back. It is the SubieGirls’ (car club) breast cancer awareness fundraiser!
14. I mostly a wedding and portrait photographer
15. I am really good at drawing
16. I studied Art with concentration in Photography at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. I love my school and I find any and every excuse to go back. Go Patriots! I was also at GMU when we went to the final four. Mason, I am so proud of you.
17. I believe in the importance of documenting one’s life and have been exploring this concept since I was little.
18. I have the best husband and family ever! Without them I would not be doing what I love every day
