I met Leah while we were attending different colleges. She was at Bridgewater College with Adam (my now husband) while I was attending George Mason University. Adam and Leah were very close friends and so we got to hang out together a lot. She is a very cool gal and a very special friend of ours.
When she called to ask if I would photograph her wedding, I was thrilled, shocked, and nervous all at the same time! All of my previous weddings were with another photographer. I was just beginning my new independent photography business and did not have a large personal wedding portfolio. I jokingly told her that she had a lot of faith in hiring me! She told me she loved all the photographs that Adam had hung all over his dorm room. She said she knew I would do an amazing job! I laughed and thanked her.
I had so much fun photographing Leah and Sam’s wedding! They are such a cute, fun and sweet couple! The venue was gorgeous, the food was delish and the company was fantastic.
