Denise and LJ

LJ is a DJ/Producer and Denise is a vocalist and together these two make an awesome music duo! I met LJ and Denise at a pool party LJ was DJ’ing for. Adam and I had heard of LJ MTX before and had listened to some of his sets and we really liked his style. When Adam told me about the pool party in Washington D.C. and about LJ DJ’ing there I just HAD to go.  When we arrived at the pool party I walked up to LJ and said, “Hi, we are big fansCan we get a pic with you?” and he was really sweet and agreed. While LJ was playing this girl was next to me in the pool and we started talking. Turns out that girl was the DJ’s girlfriendAKA Denise. We hit it off and thank goodness for technology because she added me as a Facebook friend on her iPhone right away. That’s how our friendship was born

 About LJ and Denise’s Engagement and Wedding:

LJ proposed to Denise around the two year anniversary of her mother’s passing. It was a very difficult time for her because Denise’s mom was her only family. Denise was crying and told LJ that she felt so alone. LJ told Denise that he would be right back with some water and when he returned he got down on one knee and said “I love you and you will never be alone” and he proposed to her. They got married one year later around the anniversary of her mother’s passing so that it would be a happy time instead of sad.
As I mentioned above, Denise is a vocalist and LJ is a DJ and they are quite an amazing musical duo. This was the inspiration for their wedding colors and details.
